"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."

Hey everyone! Welcome to my wonderful world of pink! My name is Kim! I'm based in Dallas TX and I LOVE pink! I am a blogger, social media influencer, model, speaker, actress, and vocalist! Join me as I share how I live colorfully through the color PINK!

Miss Texas

It’s that time of year! It's time for the Miss Texas Pageant, meaning soon, a new Miss America will be crowned! I watch the pageant every single year, and I cannot wait to watch the upcoming ceremony. I want to talk about the recent changes in the Miss America organization, but I want to share with you my experience in participating in Miss Texas back in 2011. I did not grow up in the pageant world; I really just stumbled upon it. My voice teacher recommended it to me, as he thought I would do well. He was, at the time, the official vocal coach of the Miss Texas organization. I did a few local pageants one year, and it was a DISASTER. I did NOT know what I was getting into, but I definitely

Red, White & Blue Festivities + Outfit Deets!

It’s getting pretty close, and there are PLENTY of options to choose from for JULY 4th, one of the biggest celebrations of the year! It falls on a Wednesday this year, which is the only downside, but it won’t stop the weekend/weekday celebrations & fireworks from happening! Here are my picks for a few things going on in the Metroplex! Usually, I am a homebody and would cookout with family, stay by the pool and, depending on how I am feeling, go watch fireworks somewhere. But this year, I feel like being more festive!!! JUNE 29 – RED, WHITE & BEATS - Hosted by Rhonda Jenkins & DJ Bradford!! Kick off your Fourth of July weekend early with this PARTY! THIS WILL BE ONE you do NOT want to miss!!

My Summer Bucket List!

Summer is OFFICIALLY HERE! Although, being in Texas, it has felt like summer for about a month now... but no complaints here! It is definitely my favorite time of year because of all the sunshine, bright colors, patio weather, pool parties, & FUN- and I LOVE being outside. I will go outside for just about anything - to read, sit and relax, especially when the sun is going down! Here are some of the “CRAZY” things I plan on doing this summer, and you can too! Just a warning - most of them are outside and cheap, so I hope you don’t mind that! MY SUMMER BUCKET LIST! Picnic at a Lake or Park! Rangers Game - It’s not a Texas summer without going to a Texas Rangers baseball game with fireworks! Gr

Tony Dreaming!

TONY DREAMING I am currently taking a break from the stage but watching the Tony awards on Sunday gave me the itch to get back out there again and perform! These are some of my favorite roles I have played over the years. And the chances of me ever winning a Tony award are quite slim, but I don't need an award to feel proud of the work I have done! So, lets get to the current Broadway shows! The 2018 Tony Awards opened magnificently! Didn’t everyone just love Josh Groban and Sara Bareilles as the hosts?! I loved their opening numbers! Not only did they sound amazing, but they also managed to inspire as well! They sang to everyone who would lose at the Tonys that evening - "This is for the pe

I have been to New York City a good number of times in the last 3 years with my husband, Max, and we have tried so many different yummy places - finding all of the EATS AND TREATS! Being a hot vacation spot ALL year round, I figured I would share some of these with YOU! These were all recommended to me by Max, my brother’s girlfriend Liz, or other friends who live in the city! Of course, you can find thousands of restaurants in NYC (and there will be thousands more that I will discover in years to come), but here are my recommendations AND my top 10 things to do when YOU come to visit NYC! EATS MAX BRENNER – Okay, if you like chocolate – it’s a MUST! They have a wide variety of options as fa

About Me

Our deepest fear is NOT that we are inadequate.

Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our LIGHT,not our darkness that most frightens us.We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?'

You are a child of God.Your playing small does not serve the world. There is NOTHING enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.We are all meant to SHINE, as children do.We were born to make MANIFEST the glory of God that is within us.It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we LET OUR OWN LIGHT SHINE,we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically LIBERATES others.
