Summer is OFFICIALLY HERE! Although, being in Texas, it has felt like summer for about a month now... but no complaints here! It is definitely my favorite time of year because of all the sunshine, bright colors, patio weather, pool parties, & FUN- and I LOVE being outside. I will go outside for just about anything - to read, sit and relax, especially when the sun is going down! Here are some of the “CRAZY” things I plan on doing this summer, and you can too! Just a warning - most of them are outside and cheap, so I hope you don’t mind that!
MY SUMMER BUCKET LIST!
Picnic at a Lake or Park!
Rangers Game - It’s not a Texas summer without going to a Texas Rangers baseball game with fireworks!
Grilling Out! This is something I need to learn how to do, so I’m going to take my chances and try to make all the things!
Keto Diet - Anyone else? Just me? Okay cool. I have gotten way behind on my healthy eating. This was a New Year’s resolution of mine. I just haven’t stayed consistent!
Pool Time - I will go anywhere, really. But, remember to use sunscreen to protect your skin!
Walks - I may be in the minority for saying this (because it’s so hot outside), but I enjoy going for a walk with my dogs in the evening.
Date Nights - This is one of my favorites! We are pretty low key and usually just hang out or rent a movie from Redbox. There is nothing better than just spending time together.
New Restaurants – There are a TON of places to try, and I am always up for trying something new. Hopefully they all have patios, because it’s that time y’all!
Rooftop Hangout / Pools – Grab a drink and hang out with friends!
StayCation – We do this periodically, and it’s so fun! It’s nice to getaway and enjoy a different atmosphere.
Socialize – Blogger events, seeing shows, and seeing friends!
Church – It may be summertime, but I am committed to going and growing.
Try a Spin Class – I know, I have never tried one. Now is the time!
Grow My Blog <3
3 Weddings - This means dancing, laughter & FUN.
Learn New Music
Go to the Magnolia Market
Cape Cod!! Or a trip somewhere? We are not too sure yet but if not this summer, it won't be the end of the world! :)
Last (but not least), spend time with our families.
What are your plans this summer? It doesn’t have to be anything big, but if you do have the time, take advantage of it and do something FUN! Life updates coming soon!
