#PINKWEDNESDAY - STYLING A MIDISKIRT!

It's #PINKWEDNESDAY & I have something NEW for you guys! We are getting into the holiday season and with COVID and everything that has happened in 2020, I don't think it is always wise that I encourage people to shop for new things. Heck, I have SO many clothes and I needed to be reminded of that! I have been cleaning out and I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to show you all different ways to style a midi skirt for fall - pink edition! It is really all about layering and the kind of look you are going for, so even if pink isn't your color, these looks can be achieved with pieces already in your closet. 90% of what I am wearing are items I already owned - so they are just to giv

Seaside Florida Travel Guide & Recap!

The long-awaited blog post is finally here! Max’s family decided to take a trip at the end of August to celebrate (a little late) Max’s 30th Birthday to Seaside, and it was one of the best trips I have ever had! The house, the food, the people, the town, the beach…it was everything and more. I am so thankful we got to make this happen, and maybe I am more grateful due to everything that has happened this year. Either way, I am missing it so much and would give anything to go back. Seaside is a quaint town, like something out of a movie. Fun fact, "The Truman Show" was filmed here, and we were able to go see the actual house they used! White picket fences and different colored houses made you

#PINKWEDNESDAY - Sweaters & Cardigans!

Hey there! It is "officially" fall next week and the new releases and fall clothing is finally rolling in. One thing I am seeing a lot of this fall is PINK! Yes, pink is trending big this season! As many of you know, I am unemployed and so I am trying to not spend NEARLY as much money. One thing I have done is clean out my closet recently and I have 10 bags of clothes I am getting rid of. I don't know exactly HOW yet, but I am. I have just had them for too long and haven't worn them or they no longer fit me. Needless to say, I still have A LOT of clothes! I will be doing a few posts on how to "Shop Your Closet" and restyle pieces you already have! For those of you who are looking for a new p

4 Simple Self-Care Steps - Depression & Anxiety

It is already the middle of September. Time is a funny thing. At the beginning of quarantine, I had talked about how badly I wanted this year to be over. Now, looking back, there are specific moments I wish I could hold onto forever. Funny how that works out, even in the middle of a pandemic when people are sick, losing their jobs and fighting just to get through another day. I am counting my blessings and thanking the Lord I have found many moments of peace and gratitude during 2020. I have been in a season of loneliness I'm sure like many others during this year of isolation with being at home and trying to adjust to a new way of living. Through therapy, I recently discovered, this season

#PINKWEDNESDAY - FALL FINDS

Happy #PINKWEDNESDAY! It's back y'all! This week is a bit different and due to high demand, I am starting my fall picks a little early. As most of you know I am all about summer, but with many people already looking for fall fashion Inspiration, here we go! I imagine it will in the coming weeks, the variety will only increase, but I found plenty of good basic pink sweaters, dresses and cardigans for fall. I am NOT very good with getting the basics, so I am actually on the hunt for a few of these myself! The dress above is $30 and the puff sleeve detail added a little something "extra" that I liked :) - wearing a size medium. The belt is separate ($22), but there are many ways to wear it - wi

Hey All! Summer is coming to an end...sadly! I am a summer girl through and through and fall and winter is just a HARD season for me in general! ONE good thing about the end of summer...a good sale! Labor Day sales are hitting today, so if you are shopping - here are all the details for some major retailers, plus a few of my discount codes! I do wish I was back at the beach right now (I will be doing a recap of that next week) - but, it looks like it will just be a low-key weekend with no plans. I think I will enjoy the last bit of summer while I still can, so catch me by the pool! I hope everyone has a relaxing weekend! PS. I typically share A LOT more detailed info on my insta stories as f

Our deepest fear is NOT that we are inadequate.

Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our LIGHT,not our darkness that most frightens us.We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?'

ACTUALLY,

WHO ARE YOU NOT TO BE?

You are a child of God.Your playing small does not serve the world. There is NOTHING enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.We are all meant to SHINE, as children do.We were born to make MANIFEST the glory of God that is within us.It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we LET OUR OWN LIGHT SHINE,we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically LIBERATES others.
