One of the best hotel stays I have ever had & the perfect staycation spot if you are in the DFW area! The AC Hotel opened in September of 2020 and is located in the heart of Downtown Fort Worth. It is walking distance to Sundance Square, The Bass Performance Hall, The Fort Worth Convention Center, multiple restaurants & shops. I was ecstatic to partner with the AC Hotel and stay two nights with Max at the very end of January - we were truly blown away. I cannot say enough great things, but what I was most impressed with was the service and the way they treated not only me, but all of their guests. One of the best parts for me? The staff was wearing PINK face masks the day we arrived! I couldn’t believe it! The bartenders even came up with a pink drink – talk about a stay to remember!
THE HOTEL
As I previously mentioned, the AC Hotel is new, so it is pristine condition. A Marriott hotel, the prices are affordable for standard rates and can accommodate large groups. The lobby was one of my favorite parts because of all the seating and the modern furniture and light fixtures which in my opinion, sets it a part. They have a full bar where they served tasty cocktails and had live music one night. The lobby had plenty of seating to spread out to lounge and relax at a distance. We got to know the staff over the two days when we were there, they took such great care of us and it was very clear their priority was making sure the guests were taken care of. They followed safety protocols – hand sanitizer stations everywhere, masks and there was a lot of rooms for people to spread out as far as seating goes. Max and I felt very safe.
Some other amenities include: Free Wi-Fi, Pet friendly, Breakfast (delicious), Fitness Center, Conference Rooms...and the views! :)
THE ROOMS
There are over 200+ rooms at this high-rise hotel and we stayed on the top floor during our stay, but many of the rooms are facing Downtown Fort Worth and had the same view of Downtown which was absolutely beautiful! The room was quite spacious – there was a separate area for our luggage & a desk area for a computer. We stayed in a larger suite than the standard room, but it was still just as spacious if we had only had the bedroom. The room also came with a large flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi and they personalized some goodies in our room with an added *pink touch* which was incredibly thoughtful. There was also a pull-out couch for some extra seating and room. I believe the regular suites come with everything I just listed.
