Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Details!

It's that time of year! The annual Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is back and I am so excited to cover it. For those of you who don't know what the Nordstrom Anniversary sale is, or the "NSALE", it is the legendary yearly sale - the one stop shop for everything you can think of from all your favorite brands. You can start buying your fall wardrobe - shoes, clothes, workout clothes, loungewear and beauty from more high end designers. This year, our world looks a little different and I want to be sensitive to everything going on! Remember this is just "stuff". I will only be posting items that I genuinely love! As always, I appreciate it when you use my links. I get a tiny commission each time something is purchased in the LikeToKnow. It App and it helps me continue to do what I do!

If you are not following me in the free LikeToKnow. It App, follow me here so you can stay up to date with outfit details I post on Instagram and my picks for the NSALE! I love being a resource for you guys. So, if you are shopping the sale, here are the details!

DATES YOU NEED TO KNOW:

Shopping Tips

1. Budget/List - This year, everyone is able to preview the sale in advance & make a *wishlist* with you favorite items on Nordstrom.com. I never want to encourage anyone going into debt or overspending over a sale so I highly recommend you make a list and stick to a budget.

2. Nordstrom Card – If you know you are going to truly shop the sale, I recommend getting a Nordstrom card so you can get early access - you can sign up, TODAY and shop early, there is no waiting time. The popular items usually go before the public access even gets a chance. You earn 2 points for every $1 you spend and there is no annual fee. You can still earn points at Nordstrom by just giving them your phone number. Don’t worry – it’s free and for every 2,000 points, you earn $20. As someone who has been in debt before, I completely understand not wanting to sign up for a credit card, so do what is best for you.

3. Shop Online – Yes, it’s faster, safer, more convenient and everything will be online as opposed to in the store. One of the reasons I love Nordstrom – free shipping and free returns. Or, you can always select in-store pickup if you don’t want to wait for your items, like me.

4. Buy items that will sell out FIRST – So many neutral items will sell out first. Denim, shoes (specifically boots & booties), and barefoot dreams are some of the first to go from my experience. Sometimes, they say that things will be restocked, but last year it was not the case. If you are unsure, buy in TWO sizes and return the one that doesn't fit - better be safe than sorry. Last year, the most popular bootie sold out in the first two days which I know was very frustrating to many. For shoes, they usually put very accurate sizing information on the website. If it says to size up 1/2 size, do it!

** I do not want you to break the bank. This really is a great sale, and if you are planning on shopping it, go in with a budget, buy more and return what you don’t like so you don’t miss out! **

Phew, this was a lot of information to digest so let me know if you have any questions! I will be putting my picks in a different blog post as to not overwhelm all of you!

Thank you again for your support and following along!

Happy Shopping!
